Workshop Overview
This summer, TEAMER and the Coastal Studies Institute will host a 3-day, hands-on workshop focused on critical, high-intensity tasks performed on a vessel’s deck: Deck Operations (Deck Ops). This extended, in-person workshop will allow for deep participant engagement, integration of hands-on deployment scenarios, and increased access to experienced marine energy professionals, with emphasis on design-for-deployment, resiliency, and cross-discipline collaboration.
Purpose
To provide students, early-career professionals, university researchers, and wave energy converter (WEC) developers with applied field training in hands-on deployment scenarios, enabling stronger design practices, faster problem solving, and workforce readiness.
Registration will be limited; please apply by April 3 at the latest. Successful applicants will be notified by April 30.
