I am the Environment and Consents Officer for the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC). My role involves working with regulators, advisory bodies, and key stakeholders whilst applying both regulatory and environmental understandings to ensure relevant projects are granted the appropriate consents within our test sites.
I have also been involved in projects which revolve around challenges to marine energy deployments such as the Tidal Industry Seal Project (TISP) alongside industry members and environmental consultants.
