Taking into account the interests of sectors and nature conservation, MSP fosters processes related to stakeholder exchange and collective governance mechanisms. A large amount of experience has been gained at national or regional level on how to apply MSP in cross-border situations. This chapter highlights the existing legal framework and which organisations could foster MSP in ABNJ. Furthermore, it assesses whether existing MSP tools are somehow transferable to ABNJ and shows first results of MSP projects in these areas.More onĀ Maritime Spatial Planning: past, present, futureĀ  CY - Cham, Switzerland DA - 2019/01// PY - 2019 SP - 397 EP - 415 PB - Springer UR - https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-319-98696-8_17 LA - English KW - Marine Energy KW - Marine Spatial Planning KW - Legal & Policy KW - Human Dimensions ER -
