AB - This report presents results of the Washington ground squirrel (WGS, Urocitellus washingtoni) monitoring conducted in 2017 at Leaning Juniper IIA and IIB. This monitoring was implemented in compliance with the Wildlife Monitoring and Mitigation Plan (WMMP, Nov 20, 2009, amended WMMP, November 6, 2015) to conform to Permit Conditions #87 and #88 of the Final Order of the Site Certificate (LJWPII, 2009a). The species current status in Oregon is Oregon State Endangered and federal Species of Concern (ORBIC, 2016 and USFWS, 2016).
