TY - RPRT TI - Nygårdsfjellet Wind Park, Phase 2. Studies of Spring Migrating Birds AU - Jacobsen, K AB - (The majority of the report is in Norwegian. However, there is an abstract in English.)Nordkraft Vind AS has applied for licence to expand the wind park Nygårdsfjellet with up to 40 MW equivalent to 8-11 wind turbines. NINA have carried out counts of migrating birds during approx. 40 hours in the spring and 100 hours in the autumn. The results revealed no extensive activity by migrating birds in the study area of Nygårdsfjellet in any part of the spring or autumn. Low numbers of birds were registered, but due to the local topography most birds pass the study area on the north side where they follow the wooded hillsides. Most of the birds that were registered in the spring were local breeding birds, and not migrating birds.Norwegian Title: Nygårdsfjellet vindpark, trinn 2.
