AB - The third spring survey for the NYSERDA offshore planning area (OPA) was started on April 27 and completed on May 7, 2019. The survey took five days to complete with poor weather conditions causing down-days in early May. These surveys are designed to characterize the usage of the area by marine fauna to aid in the planning for offshore wind.
