AB - In February 2016, the economist Steve Westbrook produced an economic impact assessment on behalf of Highlands and Islands Enterprise to assess the impact of the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) since its establishment to 2015, and the report was later updated to include impacts arising from 2016 to 2017. This document summarises Westbrook’s findings to provide a socioeconomic look at EMEC’s impact, in support for a Section 36 Consent for the Billia Croo test site.
