RWE Innogy



In January of 2014, Npower Renewables Ltd changed its name to RWE Innogy UK Ltd. RWE Innogy pools the renewable energy expertise and power plants of the RWE Group. The company plans, builds and operates facilities generating power from renewable energies. RWE Innogy aims to vigorously grow renewable energies in Europe. RWE Innogy will set a strong focus to expand the already strong core businesses onshore and offshore wind power as well as to strengthen the generation from hydroelectric power. They are also pushing ahead with the development of new technologies for the future and operate for example biogas facilities. In addition, they support innovative companies in their start-up and growth phase by providing short-term finance.
