The Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research (ILVO) conducts multidisciplinary, cutting-edge, independent research focused on sustainable agriculture and fisheries in economic, environmental and social perspective. Based on this research, ILVO builds fundamental and applied knowledge necessary for the improvement of products and production methods for monitoring the quality and safety of the final products and for the improvement of policy as a basis for sector development and rural policy.
